Bea Gardner

Beunita "Bea" Alberta Gardner, 77, passed away on Tuesday, Dec. 18, 2012.

She was born on Jan. 28, 1935, in Detroit, MI, to Joe and Beunita Cortez. She attended schools in Detroit and then later moved to California.

She met LaMar Gardner and they were married on April 13, 1979. They moved to Aberdeen, ID, in 1980 and Bea worked at J.R. Simplot for 25 years, most recently in security.

She enjoyed crafting, knitting, crocheting, yard sales, gambling, and spending time with her family and grandchildren.

She is survived by her husband LaMarr Gardner; daughter Betty (Don) Petrovich, CA; daughter KayCee Stunton, CA; son

Mark Silverman; daughter Sherry (Larry Wardlow Jr) Rapp; son Larry (Nena Ochoa) Rapp; brother Don (Joyce) Cortez, MI; brother-in-law Vern Coffin, Aberdeen, ID; grandchildren Art, Eyvette, Doug,

Ashley, Jerret (Savannah), Karissa, Jessica; and 15 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her son John Guy; brother Carl Coffin; brother Ken Cortez; sister Doris Coffin, sister Sue Anderson, and grandson Christopher Rapp. The family visited with friends on Sunday, Dec. 23, 2012, at Colonial Funeral Home, 2005 S. 4th Ave., Pocatello.
