Lady Tigers split with one home game, one away

First game for the week for the Lady Tigers of Aberdeen was at Grace on Wednesday, Jan. 13, with the varsity and junior varsity playing well against them while the C-team played at Snake River.

The varsity team matched the Grace team well keeping the scores close throughout the game, but couldn't quite keep it during the last quarter. The final score was 49-35 Grace with the win. McKen-zie Pierce was the high scorer with 13 points.

The jayvee did very well in the first quarter and kept the score close throughout the game. Final score was 46-42 in Grace's favor. Kaitlin Wynn was high scorer for the night with 12 points.

The C-team girls fought hard against the Snake River team but couldn't quite get the win. High scorer against Snake River was Autumn O'Brien with 6 points, 2 of which came from free throws.

The ladies also played at home on Friday against Soda Springs. All the ladies played above their abilities that night.

Final score for the varsity was 57-29, Aberdeen with the loss. High scorer for the night was Sarah Yancey with 10 points.

The JV also kept the game fairly close. They all worked hard and made 19 points in the second half mostly in the third quarter. The score at the end of the game was 51-40, Soda with the win. Taylor Wallace made high scorer with 10 points.

C-team played very well keeping the score very close before losing 36-30. Taylor Wallace and Ali Pocock were both high scorers for that game making 7 points each.
