TORBERT, Tom "Pete," formerly of Macon County died Thursday, Dec. 20, 2012 at home in Auburn. He was born on Oct. 13, 1938 in Macon County. His funeral was Saturday, Dec. 29 from Providence Baptist Church in Society Hill community with Rev. Andrew Alexander officiating. He leaves wife Vera Jerido Torbert; daughter Adrienna Collette Torbert; sister Adline T Morris (John David). Peterson & Williams Funeral Home, Auburn, handled arrangements.
