Grange awards two scholarships
Pamona Grange of Mason County awarded $750 scholarships to graduating Shelton High School graduates Chase Salisbury and Julianna Ducker.
Pamona is the legislative branch of granges in Mason County. The members come from granges in Agate, North Mason, Matlock and Skokomish Valley.
Salisbury has been accepted to Central Washington University and to the school's aviation program as well. He is graduating with a 3.8 GPA while also completing an associate's degree as part of the Running Start program at South Puget Sound Community College. Salisbury also participated in football, wrestling and track.
Ducker will graduate with a GPA of 3.6. She plans to attend Olympic College Shelton with an eye on a career in teaching. She is active with Big Buddies the girls swim team and National Honor Society.
