Geologist Paul Handverger explains history of agriculture

The Clemenceau Heritage Museum invites the public to hear geologist Paul A. Hand verger speak about agriculture in the Verde Valley. This free event will be held Friday, March 8, at 1 p.m. at the museum, 1 N. Willard St., Cottonwood.

Hand verger earned a degree from Dartmouth College and is a Ph.D. candidate at the University of Arizona, where he spent a year teaching in the geology department. He has held numerous leadership positions and has many hobbies and interests. He is currently working to publish the Clarkdale Arcadia Book

Images of America Hand verger's talk will span a portion of the Verde Valley's history, from the early American Indian cultures to the Industrial Era. Call 634-2868.
