Third Annual 'A Touch of Arthur' To Showcase Businesses, Products Made in Arthur Area

On Saturday, August 1, "A Touch of Arthur" — A Showcase of Arthur Area Products and Services, will come to downtown Arthur, the Route 133 businesses corridor, and the surrounding countryside businesses.

This event, sponsored by Arthur Area Association of Commerce, is designed to shine the spotlight on the wide variety of area businesses located in and near the community.

Participating Arthur Area merchants and businesses will host open houses and special sales during the day. While others will have booths set up in town or will host open houses at their places on Route 133 as well as in the countryside.

Special signs will be posted at the participating sites downtown, along Route 133, and throughout the area so you can partake in the sales, free giveaways, refreshments, and more!

There will be exhibitions, demonstrations, games, and inflatables for the kids, and from 10 to 3 there will be golf cart rides available to take anyone interested around the downtown Arthur Area or even to do a little exploring of the tree-lined, friendly neighborhoods around town.

Also on display in the downtown area will be farm equipment as well as fire protection equipment from Arthur Volunteer Fire Department.

"The Arthur Area is well known for the quality of the goods it produces, and the fantastic customer service and attention to detail shoppers/customers find here," commented Bob Doan, area development coordinator.

"This will be our chance to showcase to not just our visitors, but local residents as well, the amazing array of products and services, some famous throughout the nation and beyond, that are available right here in the Arthur area."

This is a free event so come and discover or rediscover what the Arthur Area offers through numerous craftsmen, artisans, small business owners, retail shops, restaurateurs, manufacturers, and service providers. A wonderful day for the family to experience, "A Touch of Arthur."
