The Edward Jones offices in Shelton are collecting dog food for the local Adopt-a-Pet shelter. Unopened bags of dog food can be dropped off through Friday at: Armin Baumgartel at 821 W. Railroad Ave., Suite A; Eric Thompson at 301 E. Wallace Knee-land, Suite 219; Karen Schade at 1051 SE state Route 3, Suite E; and Lori Morgan at 1717 Olympic Highway N., Suite 100.

Adopt-a-Pet provides dog food for Mason County families going through tough financial times so dogs do not go hungry.

Any brand of dog food is accepted, including nutrient-rich puppy food and gluten-free food for dogs with allergies.

For more information, contact Terri Thomas with Adopt-a-Pet at 481-9962, or Lori Fey with Edward Jones at 426-8054
