On Saturday, July 18, Clarkdale Community Services will present the Cadillac Angels at the next Clarkdale Concert in the Park series.

The group will perform from 7 to 9 p.m. at the Clarkdale Town Park gazebo. This concert is free to the public.

Although based in Arizona, the Cadillac Angels rockabilly band hails from Santa Barbara, Calif, and have left their mark on the music scene since the early 1980s. The band, formerly known as the Roadhouse Rockers with front man and creative genius Tony Balbinot, energizes the crowd with a kind of music that has managed to survive 50 years of semi-obscurity and a few bursts of popularity. The roots, rockabilly and surf-rock outfit recently released Two Blocks Off Main, their 15th recording.

The park is located in the center of the town's historic district on Main Street, between 10th and 11th streets. There is a 50/50 raffle, which all proceeds benefit the Concerts in the Park. Remember to bring your own seating and that alcohol is not permitted in the park.

Vending spaces are available and can be arranged by contacting Community Services at 639-2460. Visit the town's website or contact Clarkdale Parks and Recreation at dawn.horman@clarkdale.az.gov
