Truck strikes home after driver faints

CopyThree Camp Verde Fire District units responded to a single-vehicle accident at 3261 Zachary Lane at approximately 1:15 p.m. Aug. 17.
The driver of a truck apparently experienced a syncopal episode and the truck ran through a fence and into the back of the residence. There was approximately six feet of damage to the exterior wall. Some damage was structural, but the stability of the structure was not compromised.
The driver of the vehicle received medical treatment on scene but refused transportation to the hospital.
The resident was in the front part of the home at the time of the accident and was not injured.
