Indictment says Nail intentionally set fire which destroyed store

John Nail's indictment Feb. 10 states that he did intentionally start or maintained fire at Newton Tire, 1043 Highway 80 West in Demopolis.

His bail was set at $20,000 by Judge Eddie Hardaway. Ben Sherrod and Freddie Webb posted the bond money.

Witnesses in the grand jury proceedings were Jebb Harrison, Paul Foster, and Tim Soronen.

District Attorney Greg Griggers presented the state's case against Nail.

Fire destroyed the building Dec. 18, 2012.
