Airman Wong gets 1st class Air Force title
U.S. Air National Guard 1st Class Airman Troy R. Wong graduated from basic military training at Joint Base San Antonio-Lackland, San Antonio, Texas.
The airman completed an intensive, eight-week program that included training in military discipline and studies, Air Force core values, physical fitness, and basic warfare principles and skills.
Airmen who complete basic training earn four credits toward an associate in applied science degree through the Community College of the Air Force.
Wong is the son of Randall Wong of Irvine, Calif., and Patricia Wong of Rimrock, and grandson of Charles Shiles and Nobuko Shiles Wong of San Jacinto, Calif.
He graduated in 2013 from California Military Institute in Perris, California.
