Diabetes support group scheduled

The diabetes support group will meet from 1 to 2 p.m, today in the Pershing meeting room at Mason General Hospital. This month's topic is "Becoming Supermarket Savvy," and will take participants on a virtual grocery store tour to talk about packaged food, cooking oils and provide tips on how to make the best choices.

Family members and significant others are also invited to take the class to help provided their loved one with ongoing support.

The same program will take place in Allyn from 1 to 2 p.m. today in the downstairs meeting room in the Port of Allyn building.
