Donate lifesaving blood in drive at Rainbow Acres

The public is invited to give the gift of life at Rainbow Acres on Saturday, July 18, at a blood drive.

One donation could save up to three lives. Each 30 minute, painless gift can create life-saving components to help up to three patients.

Rainbow Acres will host the blood drive from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. in the Palmer Community Center. The public is welcome and encouraged to participate. Donors can relax in a spacious room with beautiful Verde Valley views while you donate, and enjoy free fresh-baked cookies and juice afterward.

To save time, reserve an appointment by contacting United Blood Services at the bloodhero.com website and entering Rainbow Acres as the sponsor code. Forms can also be filled out the day of the drive.

A 50-acre ranch-style community that provides caring homes and lives of purpose for adults with developmental disabilities, Rainbow Acres is located two miles from Interstate 17, off Middle Verde Road at 2120 W. Reservation Loop Road in Camp Verde.
