Those looking for something to do with family and guests are invited to stop in at the Clark Memorial Library to view "A River Runs Thru Us," an exhibit featuring works of art inspired by a three day trip on the Verde River. The results are spectacular.

"A River Runs Thru Us" will be on display through Friday, Jan. 3, and can be viewed during library hours 8 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Monday through Thursday, and 8 a.m. to noon on Friday. The library will be closed Wednesday, Jan. 1.

The original art will be sold in an online auction, along with sales of posters, prints, calendars and greeting cards to fund ongoing education and conservation of the valuable and precious habitat of the Verde River.

This is the fourth stop of the travelling art exhibit. The exhibition journey will continue through April, displaying at various venues along the watershed.

For a list of artists and samples of their work and the exhibition and event calendar, visit the Verde Artist Challenge website.
