Three chamber board members resign

CopyThree members of the Camp Verde Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors have resigned following recent shake-ups in the organization.
Chairman Gary Thompson, Vice Chairwoman Ramona Aldridge and secretary Ashton Powell have tendered their resignations to the board in the past several days, according to local businessman Steve Goetting.
Goetting will be serving as the interim chairman for the chamber board. Kyle French will be stepping up as interim vice chairman along with Jessica Schield as the interim secretary.
"I feel this is a good opportunity to build a chamber that focuses on economic development," Goetting said.
Goetting said an official announcement was expected to be released by the chamber later this week.
