Perrine unopposed in bid for re-election

Incumbent village clerk Jennifer Perrine is unopposed in her bid for a third term.

Perrine, 414 Forest Lane, has served the Village of Arthur as village clerk for 10 years. She is office manager for Agri-Search Incorporated of Arthur.

Perrine is also taking classes at Eastern Illinois University to complete an MBA degree. She holds a BS in business administration from Illinois State University

Why am I running?

I enjoy the position. The board is in the middle of several important issues; they need someone they can count on to be there, take accurate minutes, and have them completed promptly.

First Baptist Church, Arthur Area Economic Development Corporation (AAEDC), Future and Current Entrepreneurs (FACE), Volunteer at Arthur Welcome Center, Arthur Lovington Atwood Hammond FFA Alumni, Arthur Woman's Club, Arthur American Legion Auxiliary, interim secretary/treasurer for Bourbon Lowe Cemetery Association, and former officer Arthur Alumni Association.
