Maria de Jesus Ruvalcaba Mancilla, 81, died May 27, 2015, in Aguascalientes, Mexico.

She was born July 17, 1933, in Calvillo, Mexico, to Alicardo & Juanita Ruvalcaba.

She came to Ajo in 1958 from Pabellon de Arteaga and lived here for forty years.

On August 25, 1958, she married Henry "Kiki" Rosalez Mancilla.

A housewife, she enjoyed cooking and praying. Her family says she loved tacos.

She was a member of the Catholic Daughters of the Americas and of Woodmen of the World.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Henry Rosalez Mancilla, who died in January 2000.

She is survived by her daughters, Sylvia Mancilla and Sandy Mancilla Rannow, both of Chandler; by her brothers, Juan Manuel Ruvalcaba & Miguel Ruvalcaba, both of Aguascalientes, Mexico, and Fernando Ruvalcaba of Pabellon de Arteaga, Mexico; by her sisters, Ana Maria Ruvalcaba & Maga Ruvalcaba, both of Pabellon de Arteaga, Mexico, and Lupe Ruvalcaba of Merida, Cancun, Mexico; and by her grandchildren, Eric Anthony Mancilla, Enrique C. M. Rannow, and Deanna J. Orosco.

Rosary was received Wednesday, May 27, in Aguascalientes, Mexico, with a funeral and burial in Pabellon de Arteaga, Mexico. She was laid to rest next to her mother. Services were led by the Ruvalcaba family.
