Michael Lloyd Morton, owned repair business

Michael Lloyd Morton, 68, of Milton, passed away Tuesday, July 12, 2016, at Kent General Hospital, Dover.

Mike worked at the Perdue Processing Plant for several years and was second in charge of maintenance of the electrical department.

However, he was proudest of his time spent at his family owned business Morton Electric Repair in Lewes.

He was a veteran of the U.S. Army and served in Germany and France during the Vietnam era.

Mike is preceded in death by his parents, Jack Lloyd and Dorothy Mae (Cooper) Morton.

He is survived by a sister, Mary Morton and her husband Ronald Hill; and his little doggie Chippy.

A funeral service will be held Monday, July 18, at 1 p.m., in the chapel of Short Funeral Services, 416 Federal St., Milton, with visitation after noon. Burial will immediately follow in Henlopen Memorial Park.
