Dwight Van Evera, 85, of Sedona, died March 27.
He is survived by his wife, Patricia, of Sedona; son Kurt [Kelly] of Cornville; daughter Sharon Van Evera [William] Dabars, of Scottsdale; two grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
A private memorial service for immediate family members is planned. Friends and acquaintances are encouraged to join Mavericks colleagues in making donations in his memory to the Nature Conservancy.
