Suddenlink added more than 120 new channels to its TV lineup in Sedona, Cottonwood, Camp Verde, Lake Montezuma and the Village of Oak Creek on Oct. 25.

The date also marked completion of a project upgrading local TV lineups to superior all-digital picture and sound quality.

The expanded channel lineup is another step in a $10 million capital investment program in Arizona and two California communities that already has brought faster Internet speeds and soon will bring even faster Internet speed options, video on demand and other services.

The new lineup includes four new channels in Suddenlink's basic package, more than 50 new digital channels, and more than 70 new HD channels. Information, including alphabetical and numeric lineups showing the new listings, have been mailed to customers.

Based on customer feedback, channels have been moved into more logical groups. Digital channels are grouped into three packages, including a Family Package, Sports & Information Package and a Movie Package, giving customers more options in purchasing their TV entertainment.

As another part of its investment program, Suddenlink soon will introduce faster Internet speed options in Sedona, including two new services with download speeds up to 20 and 50 Megabits per second. These are in addition to the 1.5-, 10- and 15-Mbps services Suddenlink now offers after recent speed upgrades that were introduced at no added charge to customers.

Suddenlink also will soon introduce its enhanced video on demand service and TV Caller ID.

Suddenlink's VOD service offers capacity for up to 20,000 hours of viewing — including movies, sports, news, music and popular cable-network shows with many choices available in HD format and several available in 3-D format. More than 40 percent of Suddenlink's VOD library is free.

Customers who subscribe to Suddenlink phone and digital video services soon will be able to get TV Caller ID at no extra charge. When the phone rings, TV Caller ID allows them to see who's calling on their TV screens.

Suddenlink Communications is the seventh-largest cable operator in the United States, supporting the information, communication and entertainment demands of approximately 1.4 million residential customers and thousands of commercial customers in Arizona, Arkansas, California, Louisiana, Missouri, North Carolina, Oklahoma, Texas and West Virginia. Suddenlink simplifies its customers' lives through one call for support, one connection and one bill for TV, Internet, phone and other services.
