CARRABASSETT VALLEY -- The Sugarloaf Area Christian Ministry in collaboration with the Carrabassett Valley Public Library "Valley Seniors" and municipal, business and community partners, welcome the public to the cvalleynetwork.org website.

It is organizers' intention that this website helps support and assist an aging community of Sugarloafers to remain living and thriving in and around the Carrabassett Valley area, by providing a web-based network of resources and services available in the areas of health, transportation, community and social services.

By providing a connection to peers and volunteers via the website, cvalleynetwork.org will encourage an aging community to pursue long-term residency and independence in the rural mountain region.

In addition to the web-based information of interest to seniors, caregivers and family members who may be living away, a volunteer-based community outreach program known as Good Morning Calls, will make daily telephone contact with homebound valley area residents, to check-in with them to assure all is well. Click on the Good Morning Calls tab on the website menu bar for more information or to sign up to receive the calls, make the calls or both.

The ministry is seeking out and inviting those with interests in website maintenance or in coordinating volunteers for the Good Morning Calls, to contact the Reverends Pamela Morse or Earle Morse at 237-2304 or by email at pam@sugarloafministry.com.
