Upcoming library events include showings of movies filmed in Ajo. Licensing agreements don't allow the film's names to be announced but library staff offered some good clues.

On Wednesday, January 28, at 2:30 p.m., the library will show a movie about a woman on the run from her cold-hearted husband when she witnesses a train robbery.

On Thursday, January 29, at 2:30 p.m., the library will show an Ajo movie about a deadly gunslinger who travels to town to shoot it out with a famed gunslinger turned lawman. Scenes in this 1967 movie were filmed at Organ Pipe Cactus National Monument.

On Friday, January 30, at 2:30 p.m., the library will show a western comedy about an honest cowboy who gets mixed up in some shady dealings with two other men.

More information about library activities can be found in the library's ad elsewhere in this issue.
