Elizabeth J. Miller, 89, of Arthur passed away at 10:15 p.m. on Tuesday, October 27, 2015, at St. Mary's Hospital in Decatur.

Visitation was held Thursday evening and Friday afternoon and evening at Sunnyside Mennonite Church. Funeral service was held at Saturday morning at the church. Rev. Larry Rocke, Rev. Lonnie Gingerich, and Rev. Allen Schrock officiated. Burial was in Sunnyside Mennonite Church Cemetery. Edwards Funeral Home assisted with arrangements.

Elizabeth was born on April 18, 1926, in Arthur. She was a daughter of Joe C. and Bertha G. (Miller) Herschberger. She married Obed Miller on September 6, 1945, in Arthur. He passed away on February 10, 2005.

She is survived by four sons, Lloyd Miller and wife Sarah of Macon, Mississippi, Willard Miller and wife Debbie of Harrisburg, Missouri, Joe Miller and wife Shari of Rapid City, South Dakota, and Mervin Miller and wife Jewel of Macon, Mississippi; one daughter, Rosana Yoder and husband Virlin of Montgomery, Indiana; 13 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; and two sisters, Nettie Schrock of Barnwell, South Carolina, and Edna Nissley and husband David of Arthur.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; one daughter, Mary Miller; one great-granddaughter, Megan Miller; two brothers, Edward and Levi Herschberger; and two sisters, Alma Miller and Verna Herschberger.

Elizabeth was a home-maker, and she was a member of the Sunnyside Mennonite Church in rural Areola. Memorials were made to the Sunnyside Mennonite Church.
