Recreation basketball results
Nash County Parks & Recreation has released results of basketball games from the second week of play.
In the 4-6 age group, Brian Burgess, Joshua Thompson, Jayden Richardson, Wyatt Earp, and Jayden Jackson-Autry were all credited with 16 points for the Mustangs against the Raptors. Jamil Gaylor had 22 for the Raptors while Dorcett Skinner, Ethan Worrells, Maci Worrells, Will Hendricks, and Raiden Dean had 16.
Kingston Little had 22 for the Fighting Illini against the Demon Deacons, while Malachi Dixon, Seth Mullen, and Andreal Harrison had 16. Logan Marks, Hailey Boone, Jayden Gray, and Cornelius Alston all had 16 for the Demon Deacons.
Serenity McNair, Michael Richardson, and Nathaniel Redmond had 16 for the Lil' Rascals against the Dragons. Avery Bis-sette, Cole Baker, and Averee Harris all had 16 for the Dragons.
Jayden Coppedge, Christopher Winston, Sebastian Evans, and Jonathan Hardie all had 16 for the Rockes against the Chargers. VictorCuestas, Kelsi Prince, Efen Castro, and Cameron White had 16 for the Chargers.
In 7-9 games, the Firebirds topped the Cardinals 20-12 as Kameron Wright had eight points for the Firebirds. CJ Alston led the Cardinals with six.
The Hornets whipped the Tigers 20-8 behind eight points from Chason Royal. Genaro Pa-din had four for the Tigers.
The Bulldogs stopped the Dominating Sharks 16-4 as De-vonte Edmundson had 12. Jason Vick and Jayda Vick each had two for the Dominating Sharks.
In 10-12 action, The Elite edged the Stars 13-10 as Holdyn Pridgen and Malachi Ruffin each had six for the Elite. Thomas Van Dorp had four for the Stars.
Da Bulls slipped past the Lakers 19-18 behind six each from Demetrius Townes and John Richardson. Isaiah Richardson had nine for the Lakers.
The Tar Heels defeated the Sharks 21-10 as Quante Downey had eight points. Jared Duncasn had six for the Sharks.
In 13-15 games, the Tigers edged the Predators 43-40 behind 21 points from Tahj Deans. Cameron Vick led the Predators with 14.
The Pacers whipped the Tar Heels 53-22 as Jordan Moore scored 22. Lukas Overman had nine for the Tar Heels.
In 16-18 action, the Clippers sailed past the Mavs 53-29 as Ken Richardson scored 17. Duane Tabron had 14 for the Mavs.
The Bulls topped the Heat 67-57 behind 24 points from Daquan Eburg. Marquis Wright had 27 for the Heat.
