Each year, the Verde Valley Humane Society rescues, cares for, and finds homes for about 1,300 animals. The group offers a safe refuge and makes sure they are adopted into a forever home with responsible pet owners.
At the cost of approximately $910 per day to run the shelter, WHS relies on different types of donations from generous people and businesses.
The WHS board, staff and volunteers are always working hard to raise the necessary funds to provide the highest quality of care and ensure the success of their organization. But support from the local community is also needed to continue this important life-saving work.
In addition to its corporate sponsorships, WHS has developed the Paw Pals Club, which is an affordable monthly giving program for the community to participate in.
This dependable flow of funds will help the shelter provide the services needed to care for homeless pets while they await their forever homes.
Both programs will serve to enrich the lives of their pets and make their stay cleaner, healthier and happier.
All the animals and the WHS team appreciate the compassion, support and generosity and for considering becoming their partner in animal welfare.
Visit the donation page on the WHS website for more information on both programs, or email verdevalleyhs@gmail.com.
